A proxy judge is a proxy server tester, which tests and rates it. A proxy judge can be used in most of the proxy checking programs like Charon, AATools, Proxyrama, AccessDiver and others. A ProxyJuge is usually a Perl or other CGI script (now PHP is also available) that returns a subset of the environment variables of the server. Depending on environment variables a proxy scanner tool can decide (judge) whether proxy can be trusted or not. Without judge tools its only possible to decide whether proxy is working or not but not whether a proxy is anonymous or not.

Its possible to find proxy judges with using google easly. Here are some hotlinks which you can simply use to search for hosted judges. You have to follow the links to test whether the judges are still working. Most of hosters dont allow judges because judges mostly beeing used with automatic software to verify proxies. This kind of traffic is simply junk traffic and waste of bandwidth.

Common use is with proxy scanning or verifying tools but you may also use judges to judge your current using proxy. For example simply type http://www.proxyjudge.biz/cgi-bin/jenv.cgi after you have setuped your proxy and see what kind of additional headers are sent from proxy you are using. (experts only)
In most cases judge scripts will be used from proxy scanning tools like we have in our download section.

Yes all of us had computer science lesson in school and all schools have proxy servers they are designed to keep concentration of pupils at lesson with many restrictions.
On most of schools proxy servers are restrictive to non-web ports and allow the traffic on ports like 80 and 443 (ssl).
Lets say your school proxy is allowing to connect to port 80, then second step you must do is to find a tool like SocksCAP which allows you to use proxy over proxy. You can setup SockCAP to connect to another proxy which you can find from http://www.proxybox.com and bypass the school proxy server.
To verify your ip address use http://www.ip.cc
